I\u2019ve served in my capacity as an active SEO since roughly the summer of 2011 and an elite SEO specialist since 2015. With over 10 years of ferocious market-conquering experience, I know a few things about SEO and best practices for meaningful longevity.<\/p>\n
Meaningful longevity means I still have my first clients, and they\u2019re happy.<\/strong><\/p>\n While I won\u2019t be sharing many tips, and I try not to, I will share a few fundamental concepts that anyone taking an interest in the executive actions of an SEO, at any level, can appreciate.<\/p>\n The main reason I\u2019m writing this SEO blog post is that we need more SEO related content to help rank our website for SEO related search terms. We need the authoritative juice to make that happen, thus, this blog post.<\/p>\n Please know that I\u2019m not a believer in SEO tutorials or people that think they can teach SEO because real SEOs don\u2019t have time for such chicanery.<\/p>\n With that said, there’s a ton of good information out there but it takes a certain level of experience to know where to invest the time and what to take seriously.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t Backlinks are the lifeblood of SEO, top-notch content is the mother\u2019s milk of SEO, and don\u2019t let anyone tell you differently. If they do, they\u2019re lying to you at worst and being disingenuous at best.<\/p>\n Good backlinks are hard to obtain but are worth the cost and effort. Sometimes you have to pay big bucks for great backlinks, while other times, they can be obtained for free or manufactured. In any case, the worst thing you could do is to purchase backlinks that you don\u2019t control or intrinsically understand.<\/p>\n By buying into a backlinking scheme of any kind, especially the types that you don\u2019t have control over, you lose control over the destiny of the money site\u2019s ranking potential.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t Having tons of backlinks is cool, but having quality backlinks is better. Having active control of all of your backlinks is advised. Having the ability to log into an offsite property to make changes to the content hosting the backlink is power. Owning the sites which host your backlinks is God-like elite SEO specialist power, which isn\u2019t required.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t For example, I would never use a product like that which is provided by BackLinks.com<\/a> or TextLinks.net<\/a> for one of my precious clients\u2019 projects. Why? Because we have no way of knowing what \u201cneighborhood\u201d the backlinking sites are from or the history of them. The websites where they\u2019re embedding backlinks could be criminals from bad neighborhoods. Such products will undoubtedly draw a manual penalty and get a web property de-indexed from the search engine entirely.<\/p>\n It\u2019s SEO death.<\/strong><\/p>\n Wannabe SEOs that use such services should find another way. Although I mentioned a couple of websites in my example, we\u2019re not affiliates or haters of theirs. I wouldn\u2019t recommend engaging in any form of backlinking or link exchange scheme. It\u2019s dangerous.<\/p>\n With that said, an elite SEO could take advantage of any linking product and find a way to use it to their advantage, sans linking directly to a client or \u201cmoney site.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t There is no duplicate content penalty!<\/strong><\/p>\n However, duplicate content does not represent the finest of quality; it ain\u2019t original; it doesn\u2019t put forth any new ideas, nor does it add any new value to \u201cthe discussion.\u201d The concept of \u201cThe Discussion\u201d is the basis of SEO. In other words, \u201cauthority on a specific topic\u201d is the base genetics of modern SEO. Remember why I\u2019m writing this blog post, and yes, it\u2019s original content.<\/p>\n The problem with publishing or hosting duplicate content is the authoritative website that published it first owns it unless a more authoritative site published it too.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n I don\u2019t wanna digress into another subject. However, my point is original content is more important than duplicate content. So it\u2019s best to avoid duplicate or non-original content.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t Disclaimer:<\/strong> Non-original content has its place. Some duplicate content is okay such as product descriptions, legal notices, and other circumstances where it makes sense. The lesson to learn here is that duplicate content should not be the foundation of a prudent SEO campaign.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t SEM (passive search engine marketing) is a highly technical & precise skill. Ain\u2019t no such thing as a $99.99 SEO or $199.00 per month guaranteed page 1 product or program \u2013 that works out long-term.<\/p>\n A professional SEO is a Doctorate level expert in their field with well over 15,000 hours of hustle in the trade and an income to match their skillset. Professional SEOs don\u2019t care about $199.00 and don\u2019t have time to work at that level.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n I know it sounds harsh, but it\u2019s true.
