More About This Video
I can’t say we did our best work this video because Jim ruined the audio. I think he forgot to check a setting or something, but after a few hours of engineering work on the audio performed by yours truly, I figured that our client’s vocals were “good enough” for a “web video.”
It’s coming back to me now: Jim forgot his camera’s audio recording function was set to record background audio. He lent his camera to a movie production team for a short film and forgot to recheck the audio settings when it was returned to him.
I’ll have to go back to Austin and re-record this video and get better audio. A recent video we produced for Stepp & Sullivan demonstrates the proper production of audio for video. Although we feel redeemed, but we have to get this client’s work “right.”
This video was recorded using a Canon C500.
